Who is the Editor of Envoy Global Research?

Yehuda Fruchter, is the founder of Envoy Global, Inc. and the editor of EnvoyGlobalResearch.com. Mr. Fruchter has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry. Before to founding Envoy Global in 2001, Yehuda worked as an equity analyst at Value Line, one of the most respected independent investment research and financial publishing firms worldwide.

What Services are Offered by Envoy Global Research?

Presently, Envoy Global Research offers both free and premium research of small cap companies that trade on global exchanges. We will soon offer manage account, for those investors who would prefer third-party investment management services.

Why Another Small Cap Research Service?

Quite frankly, we looked around and did not find many quality small cap value research publications. So we decided to start our own.

Most small cap value research suffers from one or more of the following problems:

  • It's paid research, so it's biased and unreliable.
  • It's focused on companies with little fundamental value, i.e. pump-n-dump.
  • It's trading oriented.
  • It's poorly written.
  • It's focused on the wrong fundamental factors, i.e. short-term earnings.

    • In addition, most small cap research coming from large and small investment banks are suspect because of the investment banking relationships that these banks have or want to have with companies they publish research on. Also, most research coming out of banks is focused on near-term earnings estimates, which is basically useless for individual investors.

    What is the Investment Philosophy of Envoy Global Research?

    Envoy Global focuses on analyzing publicly-traded companies that are undergoing strategic change, and understanding the financial implications of those changes on these companies. We seek to locate companies where equity valuations still do not adequately reflect the effects of these corporate transformations.     Does Envoy Global Research Provide Earnings Estimates?

    No. Envoy Global Research does not provide earnings estimates for the companies we follow. Firstly, we do not believe that estimating future earnings is a worthwhile, or profitable, endeavor. Furthermore, we have a multi-year outlook for many our companies, and we do not believe that quarterly estimates are even remotely possible under such long-term outlooks. Finally, since many of our companies are in turnaround mode, they do not even have earnings, so providing earnings estimates in these cases is mostly meaningless. Instead of providing earnings estimates for companies, Envoy Global Research attempts to understand the long-term financial impact of strategic changes on a stock's current valuation.

    Does Envoy Global Invest in Companies it Publishes Research On?

    Yes. At times, executives at Envoy Global Research do in fact invest in companies we feature on EnvoyGlobalResearch.com. However, if any our executives, are invested in a company that we write research on, we will disclose this information in any report we publish.
